Korea & Spain at the 2011 Philippine International Pyromusical Competition
“Where art thou?”, my friend Angel texted. I nearly missed the biggest fireworks display competition in the Philippines due to a family event. I remember last year, I was watching it alone from afar by the seaside but I can’t hear the music. But this time, I was able to experience the fireworks with music up close with some PTB friends, thank’s to Melo for the invite.

The 2nd Philippine International Pyromusical Competion will be held every Saturday from February 12 to March 12, 2011 from 7-8pm at Seaside Boulevard in SM Mall of Asia.
TICKET PRICES:
VIP (w/ dinner) P1,500
VIP P500
GOLD P200
SILVER P100
for more information visit: http://www.pyrophilippines.com/
There are ticket booths inside the mall also. For directions to SM Mall of Asia (MOA), please refer to my post HERE.

Though I like my position last year by the bay for photography purposes, undeniably, the fireworks display with all that music is better viewed up close with your family, friends and loved one. It was Korea & Spain’s turn last night, they both performed well, though me & my friend thinks Spain got better fireworks , I was mesmerized with Korea’s entry because I am a huge fan of Enya.

From time to time, I had to take a pause and watch the fireworks with my naked eye, I was just clicking the shutter without looking at the viewfinder because I don’t wanna repeat the same mistake last year of being to immersed with taking photos that I didn’t get to enjoy the fireworks with my naked eye. So I highly suggest you bring a remote. I shall return again next week or so hoping to capture better photos (pardon my lousy shots I’m not a photographer). With that being said, I highly recommend that you watch the 2nd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition, it’s an event not to be missed by your entire family and friends! See you!
Special thanks to SM Mall of Asia.
