“Here you leave today, and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.”
These magical words greeted me and my sister as we enter the gates of Main Street USA in Hong Kong Disneyland. Sitting above the gate is the iconic Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad featuring the manicured garden with the face of Mickey Mouse. Visitors can tour the entire park aboard an excursion-style train. For easy navigation of Hong Kong Disneyland park, you can get a free map on the park gate.
Main Street USA
Wooden buildings are beautifully painted in pastel colors and reminiscent of 20th century America in Main Street USA. Vintage is proudly celebrated here!
There’s a City Hall and Town Square serving things you need like ATM’s, money changer, lost and found and stroller and wheelchair for rent and even make reservations for restaurants inside the Disneyland park.
The Art of Animation and Animation Academy where visitors can draw their favorite Disney characters caught my eye.
Main Street USA instantly became our favorite spot in Hong Kong Disneyland!
There’s also this vintage-inspired Main Street vehicle going around the street. But what could be sweeter than this cute guy playing the piano?
Where to Eat in Main Street?
Corner Cafe
I spotted the Corner Café where our group had dinner the previous night. This table serviced restaurant offers a premium American menu. I tell you, the food is really great here!
Hong Kong Disneyland Parade
Flights of Fantasy Parade
It was already 4pm and my sister wanted to watch again the Hong Kong Disneyland Parade called Flights of Fantasy Parade, so we sat on the street waiting for them to pass by.
A visit to Hong Kong Disneyland wouldn’t be complete without watching the Flights of Fantasy parade. There’s a schedule everyday so make sure to check it out. The lively Main street flaunts with chromatic and elegantly designed floats with a variety of Disneyland characters theme! I’ll let the photos speak here for you.

Nothing is more beautiful than seeing your sister overjoyed as she whispers, “ Thank you. I love it here. I’m so happy!” I used to think that we can only see Disney characters in Betamax, coloring books, or fairy tale books.
I used to think meeting them and seeing them alive only happens in dreams. They say Disneyland is the Happiest Place on Earth, but for me, it’s more than that…Disneyland is where dreams come true!

Wow I didn’t know you have a twin! I knew you have a sister pero di ko lam na twins pala kayo. Hehehe.
Tama si Doc Gelo na talagang mas masaya kung may ka-share ka sa happiness mo. Baka magpunta na rin kami dyan sa Disneyland pag punta namin next week sa Hong Kong. Hindi keri ng budget ko pero parang gsto din kasi ng kuya ko kaya baka magpalibre na lang ako pag ininsist nya.. Hahaha
no we’re not twins. haha tawa nga kame ng tawa kase paglabas namen ng Pinas, yung immigration officer pinahulaan sa mga kasamahan nila kung twins kame. tas akala nila lahat twins kame. lol
Para akong bumalik sa pagkabata ga-el. This place was always been mentioned by my family. Hopefully that someday, we will see this place.:-).

Ga-el, kitang kita yung saya mo sa lugar. at bagay na bagay ang winter clothes. patok to.
