Hotel Lorita: My Home in Tuguegarao, Cagayan

Hotel Lorita, Cagayan – I still recall my birthday trip to Palaui, Cagayan. It was supposed to be a group trip but only one arrived.  We boarded on a separate bus because he was late. After almost 12 hours, I arrived in Tuguegarao, Cagayan so I scout around for some cheap hostels since we planned to wait for the bus to Sta.Ana, Cagayan that will leave around 1am.  My good friend Angel arrived a few minutes later and suggested that we stay at the hotel managed by his friend’s friend.

Hotel Lorita is located at 67 Rizal Street, Tuguegarao City, right at the heart of the commercial hub. It is near the cathedral, and the public market. Hotel Lorita is sophisticated, clean, cozy, fully-furnished, and has secure parking.  Despite its air of opulence, Hotel Lorita room rates are affordable and cheaper compared to other hotels in Tuguegarao.  All rooms are air-conditioned, with free W-Fi, and equipped with TV and own bathroom, cheapest room is around Php 700.  Breakfast is included, there’s a spacious restaurant adjacent to its lobby.

Needless to say, what I like best about Hotel Lorita is their incredibly helpful staff.  They’re charming, always smiling and willing to assist.  The last minute they found out it’s my birthday so they made me a humble surprise.  Sweet!  Despite our short stay here, it left an excellent impression on us. I am really grateful to Hotel Lorita for embracing us.

*My heartfelt thanks to Sir Paolo Corral and Antonio Totto.

Awwww..that was sweet nga. Ilang hotels ba sa ngayon ang magti-take time to greet their clients that way? Will take note of Hotel Lorita because I have plans of going back to Cagayan. The last time I went there was in 2002 pa yata and I stayed in a friend’s house in Lallo.
