Once again this February prepare for another exciting event in our country! The much awaited Philippine Hot Air Balloon Festival 2013 in Clark, Pampanga will be held on February 21 to 24 2013! It will take place at Omni Aviation Complex, inside Clark Special Economic Zone in Pampanga. Take note that the Hot Air Balloon Flight is at 6:30-8:00 AM, so be there early. Otherwise, you may just watch the Hot Air Balloon Glow at 5:30-6PM.
Tickets are sold at Php 250 at the gate during the event or through SM Ticketnet outlets. For information on how to get there, please scroll down and see the details at the bottom of this post.

Clark Hot Air Balloon Festival Ticket (Entrance Fee) for 2013:
A hot air balloon ticket costs Php 250. You can buy tickets at the gate of Omni Aviation Complex, inside Clark Special Economic Zone during the event or thru SM Ticketnet outlets. Please call 833-3264 or 384-0085 for ticket inquiries.
How to Get to Clark, Pampanga for the Hot Air Balloon Festival 2013:
How to get to Clark Hot Air Balloon Festival 2013 by Air:
You can fly to Clark, Pampanga via Zest Air, Tiger Airways, Cebu Pacific, Seair, and Air Asia.
How to get to Clark Hot Air Balloon Festival 2013 by Bus:
From Manila, take a bus going to Dau (Victory Liner in Cubao and Pasay). Otherwise, you can also take a bus (Five Star, Philippine Rabbit, Baliwag Transit and Partas) bound to Baguio, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Vigan or Laoag and tell the driver you will get off at Dau Bus Terminal in Pampanga. Travel time is roughly 1.5-2 hours depending on traffic.
At Dau Terminal, you can charter a tricycle to take you directly to Omni Aviation Complex, inside Clark Special Economic Zone. Fare is roughly Php 50-Php 100.
Alternatively, from Dau Bus Terminal, turn left until you reach the main road’s intersection. Cross the street in front of Caltex or simply ask around where to hail for a jeep bound to Clark Main Gate. Fare is Php 8. ( Take note, do not ride the jeep bound to SM San Fernando near the bus terminal! )
From the main gate, ride a jeep to Clark Special Economic Zone. Tell the driver you will get off at the Hot Air Balloon. But most likely you will be with passengers bound to the same event.
How to get to Clark Hot Air Balloon Festival 2013 by Car:
OPTION 1: NLEX DAU EXIT
Take the North Luzon Expressway and exit at Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga. Turn left turn after the exit off-ramp, heading towards Angeles City. Make another left turn at the T-intersection past the bus terminals. Follow MacArthur Highway southbound, turn right to enter Clark Special Economic Zone (near the entrance to SM City Clark). Enter through the main gate and follow M.A. Roxas Highway until you see directions into the fiesta grounds on your right.
OPTION 2: SCTEX
Take the North Luzon Expressway and continue into the SCTEX. Take the southbound SCTEX lane toward Subic/Olongapo. Use the next exit, “Clark South Exit”. Follow the signs right after the toll booth.

none. unless you want to ride the balloon which is quite hefty – around $250.
