Been pretty busy lately not to mention that I got sick  last week  and was on bed rest that I failed to write some updates on this blog.  There’s a lot of things that I should be thankful for though,  like the opportunities that has recently poured in and the huge support of my readers and friends.  My heartfelt thank you! I wouldn’t have done this if   it weren’t for you all.  Thank you for the comments, the stories, the e-mails, the messages and chats in Facebook.  I hope you know that I greatly appreciate your time and kind words.

I’m really thankful to be included in the Best Travel Blog Finalist together with the top bloggers despite being a newbie.  Most of  my Pinoy Travel Blogger friends did not attend the 2010 Philippine Blog Awards Luzon leg, but I decided to join since it’s my 1st time to be nominated and I will also be the representative of  Marcos, Roby, Ed & Marky, we all want to win the free airfare! haha  I was a little late, Spencer & Dong Ho were there already, I can’t see them & the rest of the PTB though because it’s dark inside the auditorium.

I first read about Step Juan on a magazine during  my flight to Bangkok.  Step Juan is a walking expedition done by one man. The idea is to walkfrom Pagudpod to Sorsogon withoutany means of vehicular assistance and to do this for several weeks,straight, stopping only for food and rest. The backbone and foundationfor this idea is to raise funds for the cancer children under theCancer Warriors…… Foundation. Step Juan’s 50 day* walk will be done by Tomas Leonor, an avid mountaineer and a passionate artist. His walkwill cover around 1,294 kilometers of long highways and pass 33 majorcities and 150 towns.

Step Juan will begin on January 11, 2010.
