Recently named by a famed international travel magazine as one of the “15 Best Secret Beaches in the World”, Panglao Island has long been flocked by both foreign and local tourists for its iridescent underwater world. During my latest trip, I stayed at Amorita Resort in Alona Beach which reminds me of the lively Boracay, another majestic tropical beach crowded with resorts, restaurants and bars.
