I am humbled to have been invited to speak about travel blogging and female solo travel in Solo, Indonesia last May for the ASEAN Blogger Festival 2013 (ABFI2013) break out session. The event was joined by more or less 250 participants from Indonesia and the rest of Southeast Asia (ASEAN members).

The mere mention of Indonesia conjures images of the beautiful beaches of Bali and excellent dive sites. But this massive country in Southeast Asia offers more than that, that’s why last 2011, I kept searching for other destinations to visit other than Bali, and I came upon Yogyakarta and Mt. Bromo in Java.
