The warm colors of yellow and green greeted us as we arrived in Go Hotels Puerto Princesa, just a few steps away from Robinsons Place Palawan and 15-20 minutes away from the airport. Who said that comfort-for-less is not possible?

A few minutes away from the airport, I was surprised to find a massive and full-service mall in Puerto Princesa – Robinsons Place Palawan. This can easily be spotted along the National Highway en route to Puerto Princesa’s top tourist attractions like Honda Bay, Butterfly Garden, Baker’s Hill, Crocodile Farm and the famed Puerto Princesa Underground River.

I’ve never been inside an oceanarium before, even the one in Manila. I remember seeing the Siam Ocean World in Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand in 2009 but I didn’t go inside. So I was quite surprised with the vastness of Sentosa’s aquarium, part of the Marine Life Park (this is the dry experience while the Adventure Cove Waterpark is the wet experience), called S.E.A Aquarium which was unveiled November 2012 in time for the Resorts World Sentosa Grand Opening.

Singapore’s first integrated resort – Resorts World Sentosa which opened in January 2010 had 12 major launches over the past 2 years. The Marine Life Park (MLP) was finally opened last November 2012 and I got to witness the dreamy Grand Opening of Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore last December.
