A terrifying cry rends the night. A harsh and fearful screech repeated until the noise dies to a whimper. I lie uncomfortably on the boat freezing and sleepy, as the waves were splashing against us making my newly acquired scars and my eyes extremely painful. I reached for my friend’s shawl, never mind if he used it earlier to cover his wounds, I just can’t take another salty water or rain on my wounds! The stars are nowhere, I closed my eyes, still freezing and full of imaginings and memoirs of our adventure.
