Good news for those planning a trip to Zambales, the province is currently under Alert Level 1, so, the Zambales travel requirements has been eased. You can now travel safely to this massive province if you need a beach or island get-away, so long as comply with the travel requirements and follow the minimum health protocols. It’s for everyone’s safety, so please respect their guidelines.
Here are the Zambales travel requirements for tourists as of April 2022. Both fully-vaccinated tourists and unvaccinated or partially vaccinated tourists are welcome.
ZAMBALES TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Zambales Fully Vaccinated Tourists
For fully vaccinated tourists traveling to Zambales, here are the travel requirements:
1.Valid ID
2.Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate or Vax Cert from vaxcert.doh.gov.ph
3.Booking confirmation from DOT-accredited accommodations (see lists below).
Zambales Partially Vaccinated or Unvaccinated Tourists
For unvaccinated and partially vaccinated tourists traveling to Zambales, here are the travel requirements:
1.Valid ID
2.RT-PCR Test taken within 72 hours before arrival in Zambales or rapid antigen test taken within 24 hours before arrival in Zambales.

If you’re bound for Pundaquit for Island hopping in Anawangin Cove, Capones Island, or Nagsasa Cove. Here’s how to get there from Manila.
1.From Manila take a bus bound for Sta.Cruz, Zambales. Victory Liner has daily trips to Sta.Cruz, Zambales from their Pasay Terminal. Travel time is approximately 4-5 hours depending on traffic and bus fare is roughly ₱684 ($14).

ZAMBALES TRAVEL TIPS AND REMINDERS
- Most accommodations, especially in remote areas in Zambales doesn’t have Wi-Fi. If you need to get connected online, best to bring a pocket Wi-Fi, you can RENT HERE
- Follow the minimum health protocols. Wear mask when not eating or drinking. Practice social distancing.
- Plan ahead and prepare.
- Camp on designated campsites only or on durable surfaces.
- Keep yourself hydrated. Bring your own water bottle so you can refill your water from your accommodation.
