For those excited to travel to Pangasinan, you’ll be glad to know that Pangasinan is now open to tourists, including those aged between 15-65 years old with no underlying conditions and comorbidities! This blog is about the general Pangasinan travel requirements 2022 for travelers/tourists visiting the province. However, please double check the additional travel requirements with the respective LGU of Pangasinan (refer to the Pangasinan LGU Travel Policy List), as each municipality also has their own travel requirements for tourists. When traveling to Pangasinan, please make sure the minimum public health standards are strictly implemented at all times.
Here’s the updated travel requirements for Pangasinan this 2021. I’ve also included a sample Pangasinan itinerary below.
PANGASINAN TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 2022
PANGASINAN TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR FULLY VACCINATED TOURISTS
- Vaccination Card. Fully vaccinated tourist must present a valid vaccination card.
- Valid Government-Issued ID. You must present a valid government issued ID, such as driver’s license, passport, etc. Make sure it’s not yet expired.
- All tourists are encouraged to register at Pangasinan.tarana.ph.
PANGASINAN TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-VACCINATED AND PARTIALLY VACCINATED TOURISTS
- Valid government-issued ID. Visitors must present a valid government-issued ID such as passport, driver license, Senior Citizen Card, etc.
- Negative RT-PCR Test or Antigen Test. Non-vaccinated or partially vaccinated tourists to Pangasinan must present a negative RT-PCR Test of Antigen Test result taken within 72 hours before travel from a valid DOH-accredited clinic.

- All tourists are encouraged to register at Pangasinan.tarana.ph.
IMPORTANT:
As per Executive Order No.0178 issued on November 2021, S-Pass permit is no longer required, but travelers may need to undergo health exposure screening along the border checkpoints.
The requirements mentioned above are for each visitor, meaning, if you are traveling in a group, each individual must submit the travel requirements.
PANGASINAN TRAVEL REMINDERS:
- The province-wide curfew is from 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM, so, make sure you are inside your hotel or resort on or before 9:00 PM.
- So far, only point-to-point interprovincial buses are allowed in Pangasinan.
- All buses from NCR bound for Pangasinan shall be required to use the Integrated Terminal Exchange as the central hub for transportation. No bus company or public transport shall be allowed to use their private terminals.
- Travel authority and medical certificates are NOT required to be presented in border checkpoints for travel.
- No traveler shall be required to undergo quarantine, unless s/he exhibits symptoms upon arrival at the LGU of destination.
- Again, please check with the respective LGU of Pangasinan if they require other travel requirements aside from the aforementioned, or refer to the updated Pangasinan LGU Travel Policy List.
- For now, here’s some of the travel requirements for some municipality in Pangasinan like Alaminos (where Hundred Islands is located).
ALAMINOS (HUNDRED ISLANDS TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS)
If you are planning to travel to Hundred Islands in Alaminos City, Pangasinan, the travel requirements is the same as the travel requirements for Pangasinan province. See details above.
ALAMINOS TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR FULLY VACCINATED TOURISTS

Take note that for Hundred Island in Alaminos:
- Entry is limited to 1,000 tourists per day.
- Tour hours is from 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM only.
- The only authorize entry points for island hopping in Hundred Islands are Tourism Office, Lucap Park, Bued Mangrove, and Bolo Beach

GETTING AROUND PANGASINAN
BY CAR
Traveling to Pangasinan now is easier with the opening of TPLEX and NLEX-SCTEX route. You can head to Pangasinan using the these expressways whether you are coming from Manila or NCR Plus.
BY BUS
Cubao, Quezon City to Pangasinan
Most buses bound for Pangasinan are coming from the bus terminals in Cubao. That includes Victory Liner, Dagupan Bus, First North Luzon Transit, 5-Star Bus, and Cisco Bus. Destinations include Alaminos (Hundred Islands), Bolinao, Dagupan, Lingayen, and Urdaneta. Travel time is approximately 4-6 hours depending on the destination. Bus schedule though is currently limited due to the pandemic, but with the reopening of Pangasinan to tourists and easing the travel requirements, soon enough the bus schedules will most likely resume to its regular schedule 24-hour schedule.
Pasay City to Pangasinan
If you’re coming from South Manila, don’t fret, as there are also buses available en route to Pangasinan, such as Victory Liner (bound for Dagupan), and 5-Star Bus (bound for Dagupan and Bolinao), and Cisco Bus (bound for San Fabian, Manaoag, and Mangaldan). Travel time is approximately 4-6 hours depending on the destination.

GETTING AROUND PANGASINAN
Jeepneys are available in every town of Pangasinan, but if you want to tour around town, you can hire a tricycle to get to your destination. Tricycle is usually good for 2-3 people. If you are a large group, try hiring a jeepney instead. Negotiate the rate with the driver.
